Our Mission
As the requirements for the proper care of frail older people evolves, so should the approach of our healthcare practitioners. Dr. Michal Boyd, NP and Equinox Health work directly with residents, families/whānua and staff of Residential Aged Care to provide an innovative and responsive model of primary healthcare.
What we do.
Family Meetings.
Provide proactive meetings with residents and families/whanau to discuss current clinical concerns, medications, and goals of care.
Staff Education.
We work with facility staff, nurses and health care assistants to provide regular education sessions.
Guaranteed locum cover.
We coordinate 24/7 after hours on-call availability and locum cover to be sure the needs of patients are always taken care of.
